What We Proudly Stand ForBullyCrisis.com was created as a project of HumaneEducator.com to empower educators, parents and students to take a stand against bullying and to create a safe and respectful school and home environment.
Empowering the next generation
Our mission is to provide learning opportunities, resources and professional development that gives educators, parents and students tools and skills to challenge the status quo about bullying. Using fun and innovative activities, we partner with schools, families and students to provide educational experiences that will empower them to live with compassion and respect for themselves, other people, animals and the planet.
A message from our Founder:
“Bullying has become a public health issue. Students are reporting that they have been bullied or witnessed bullying almost daily. Young people are skipping school because they don’t feel safe at school because of bullying. They are experiencing anxiety, depression and suicide at unprecedented rates. It’s time for a change!
I created BullyCrisis.com because, as a Certified Humane Education Specialist, I know that the only way to create positive social change is through education. But academic education is not enough. Our young people need to develop character traits such as empathy, kindness, compassion and resilience. They need to develop skills to help them diffuse conflicts and resolve them respectfully. Most importantly, they need to develop a healthy self-image that will withstand conflicts and bullying.”
